Shropshire Enterprise Partnership was one of the first regeneration companies in the country to respond to the social and economic trend towards homeworking, recognising that these small [some not so small] businesses are the drivers of a surge in new business creation.
60% of all new businesses are now started from home and in Shropshire the rural economy will benefit greatly from supporting these existing businesses and new start ups.
The Partnership plays a leadership role in the county in attracting key partners to support this work to develop the economy and has managed a series of major public/private funded projects to produce economic & social regeneration outcomes.
Future regeneration projects will include the ‘hot' sectors for micro-enterprise and rural and market town regeneration schemes.
