THE COMPANY
Shropshire Enterprise Partnership is a well established company with a ten year track record of award winning achievements, the Partnership is a not for profit company, limited by guarantee.
The Aims and Objectives are:
- To promote the economic, social and environmental development of Shropshire
- To develop, secure and provide training, advisory, consultative and other support services and advice to and for local businesses, and;
- Promote the development of existing businesses and the establishment of new business

OUR WORK
Over the past TEN years, we have added millions of pounds of economic activity to the local economy, developing the visitor market, increasing business tourism levels and helping to create a compelling identity for the county town. Since 2006, our work has encompassed the county of Shropshire.
Some of our Key Performance Indicators:
- Event management – bringing over 100,000 visitors to Shrewsbury to attend events large and small
- Raising commercial sponsorship and in-kind support for local projects – in excess of £4million
- Publicity – local, regional and national, including TV and radio – valued at over £3million
- Promotional publications – campaigns included ‘Sundays In Shrewsbury’ ‘Shopping and Happenings in Shrewsbury’, ‘Christmas in Shrewsbury’, 'EAT in Shrewsbury', ‘Shrewsbury Blooms’, ‘Darwin in Shrewsbury’, ‘Discover Shrewsbury’ – over 2million brochures produced and distributed
- Books – ‘This is Shrewsbury’, hardback book, hailed “The best book ever published in Shrewsbury” - now in its second print run
- Magazines and newspaper supplements - Smart Shrewsbury, now in its 5th successful year, published seasonally with a circulation of 180,000 and a readership of 250,000
- Competitions – Shrewsbury on the national stage, this Partnership led the town to victory in Enterprising Britain 2005, winning the title:
‘West Midland Capital of Enterprise’
Runner up in the UK finials, achieved national profile for the county town.
